Melissa Gove has been riding horses since the young age of 5, she has spent
over twenty years in the equestrian industry. Melissa spent her junior years competing in the junior medals, hunters
and jumpers throughout the North East, winning an abundance of ribbons along the way. Melissa has managed several
busy hunter/jumper facilities and has had countless opportunities to train with some of the area's top trainers and participate
in clinics with Olympic trainers such as Margie Goldstein-Engle, Anne Kursinski and Greg Best. Melissa is current goals are
to be competitive in the hunter derby's and is training hard to reach this goal.
Always looking for ways to help other people improve their riding with
her vast knowledge and experience, she moved on to training and teaching acquiring her MA instructor license in 2000. For
the last ten years, Melissa has formed bonds and friendships with her clients and enjoys watching her riders grow as equestrians
and move up in their riding skills.
Melissa is a multi-disciplined rider that is capable and competent in teaching
all levels of riders. She has a special talent for teaching proper equitation and true horsemanship skills. She believes that
developing a well rounded rider in all aspects of horse care and riding skills is the best way to become a true equestrian.
